Cayuga Lake Creamery
Judy and Jeff, the owners of Cayuga Lake Creamery, have genuinely made "something from nothing." They began hand-crafting standard and fanciful ice cream flavors a few years ago that have made their shop on the wine trail a destination by itself. Their ice creams are all made in 5 gallon batches right on the premises and the result has been a cadre (army?) of loyal customers who come return from near and far to get more of this unique taste of the Finger Lakes.

Bronson Hill (Finger Lakes Farmstead) makes artisan cheese as fine and clever as those you'd go searching for far, far away. Using local products like milk (from down the road from the creamery) and beer from Ithaca Beer Company they make cheeses with character and history. The creamery was designed by a Swedish cheese-maker whose experience guide the traditional cheese-making and aging process.

The Little Banneton
The Little Banneton is an artisan bakery specializing in naturally leavened sourdough breads, bagels, pretzels and rolls. A banneton is a handmade wooden basket that is used for the second rising of the dough. All products are handmade with 100% organic and vegan ingredients, and no preservatives are used. Starters are produced from scratch, and all have been made in Ithaca, New York with only organic flour and filtered water. No packaged yeast is added; the yeast in the starter is wild yeast from the air. All of the breads, bagels, pretzels and rolls are made with either organic wheat, whole wheat, whole dark rye, whole spelt or 100% spelt (whole and white spelt) flours. The 100% spelt breads are wheat-free.
